Alchemist Boutique (Tangerine Haze)

While most of the materials evoke this minimalist ideal of a more focused, back to basics ideology with raw concrete floors and custom steel clothing racks; they also provide a clean canvas for a spatially complex colored mirrored installation which is a collaboration between industrial designer Germans Ermics and RGA.

The fourth RGA-designed concept store for Alchemist is a reflection of the long-term collaboration between the firm and brand. Owners Roma and Erika Cohen conceived of this minimalist store to adapt to a new retail landscape, which will feature a constantly changing selection of fashion, beauty and lifestyle items. These colored mirrored panels in the back of the store expand the store and create the illusion of having significantly more space than actually present. These various finishes of colored mirrors and glass reflect, filter, and saturate the space. “Tangerine Haze” was selected from a color palette developed as a larger collaborative series of colorways developed by González and Ermi?s and inspired by the unique Miami sea and sky.
