The vision for Miami’s Biscayne Boulevard is to assign the street a memorable and unmistakable character and to unify it using artistic interventions to the urban environment. Water is seen as the element that is unique and specific to the area since picturesque Biscayne Bay is one block away. The proposal’s various visions include a Water Wall art installation along a 2 mile stretch the street and a Water Plaza in front of a prominent community church that would lend visual significance to drivers along the boulevard and re-connect them to the Bay.
